Description:	Throughout July and August, the WMATA Governance Task Force has invited officials, experts and stakeholders to hear their views on the transit system’s governance.  On September 17, the Task Force will be hosting an open work session to gather additional input from the following transit/stakeholder groups.  They are currently scheduled in the following time slots: Amalgamated Transit Union, Local 689 (8:30 am) Coalition for Smarter Growth (9:00 am) Metro Riders Advisory Council (9:30 am) Metro Accessibility Advisory Committee (10:00 am) National Transportation Safety Board (10:30 am) Action Committee for Transit (11:30 am) Northern Virginia Transportation Alliance (12:00 pm) For more information on the Task Force, click here.
