| Description: | April 25 – 30, 2011 is the 25th anniversary of Community Development Week. This year, COG and the region’s 21 local governments is hosting a regional Community Development Week event on Monday, April 25th. Assistant HUD Secretary Mercedes Marquez and NCDA Vice President Vicki Watson have been invited to speak. One hundred of the area’s elected officials, local government staff and community development partners will be in attendance. Therefore, the region’s community development practitioners and elected officials will highlight key projects, speak about the impact of Congress’ proposed budget cuts, and network with one another. |
