Public Comment

The CLRP shows the road, bridge, high-occupancy vehicle (HOV), transit, bicycle and pedestrian projects funded through the year 2030. The public comment process is used to obtain comments on the region’s projects that are funded by the Federal Transit Administration (including Section 5307 funds) and the Federal Highway Administration. The air quality conformity analysis assesses the plan amendments and program with respect to the air quality requirements under the 1990 Clean Air Act Amendments.

The TPB is seeking public comment on the Draft Air Quality Conformity Assessment for an amendment to the 2009 CLRP and FY 2010-2015 TIP. The amendment includes addition of the Purple Line Light Rail Project in Montgomery and Prince George's Counties and the "Return to L'Enfant" project on and above I-395 between E Street NW and Massachusetts Avenue NW in the District of Columbia. The 30-day public comment period began on September 10 and will close on October 10, 2009.
