Energy Advisory Committee - Description

This is a dedicated group that explores energy issues affecting the metropolitan Washington region. They collect, monitor, and analyze pertinent energy data, and periodically report to and advise the CAO’s, COG Board, and other policy and technical committees on energy trends and developments, with special emphasis on issues that energy form electricity deregulation. The ultimate charge for the advisory group will be to make recommendations for balancing long-range demand with long-range supply through conservation and new technology.
