FY 2011 and FY 2012 TIGER Grant Application Materials - Description

Materials for the National Capital Region Transportation Planning Board's application for an FY 2011 TIGER Grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation.  The TPB Grant application centers on funding small-scale, innovative transit access projects including pedestrian, bicycle, streetscape and other circulation improvements to improve access to selected rail stations and encourage mixed-use development around the stations.

** FY 2012 Application **

The TPB’s FY 2011 TIGER Grant application was not one of the few projects selected for award.  However, the project concept was endorsed, and the TPB will be submitting a revised application with many of the same proposed component projects for the FY 2012 TIGER Grant opportunity, announced January 31, 2012, by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
