Cooperative Forecasting and Data Subcommittee - Description

The Cooperative Forecasting and Data Subcommittee (CFDS) is a technical subcommittee to the Planning Directors Technical Advisory Committee (PDTAC) and the Region Forward Coalition. The committee is responsible for preparing 25-year population and employment forecasts at the traffic analysis zone (TAZ) level for the entire metropolitan Washington region.

The committee is composed of planners and demographers from COG member jurisdictions. The CFDS normally meets on the first Tuesday of the month. To confirm meeting dates and times, contact Greg Goodwin, Regional Planner, at (202) 962-3274.
