DDOT Parking Think Tanks September 18, 2012

The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is hosting a series of community conversations, called Parking Think Tanks, to gauge the state of parking and to solicit public input on the future of parking in the District. DDOT envisions that these conversations will contribute to the development of a comprehensive curbside parking management plan.

Virginia seeking public input on the future of its transportation systems - Aug 2-9th

RICHMOND, VIRGINIA – The Commonwealth of Virginia wants public input as the state updates existing plans for the future of its transportation network.

Virginia’s transportation agencies are inviting the public to review current statewide policy and needs plans for all modes of transportation, including transit, highways, rail, freight, bike and pedestrian, aviation and ports.

Super NoVa Transit/TDM Vision Plan Public Meetings Announced -
May 15, May 22, and May 24



The Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT) announced the second set of public meetings for the Super NoVa Transit/Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Vision Plan. Based on public and stakeholder input from meetings held in February 2012.The next set of public meetings, scheduled for May 2012 (more information below), will give citizens the opportunity to review the results of the land use and transportation analysis as well as review a summary of future regional transit and TDM needs.

Citizens are invited to learn more about the study by attending any one of the following meetings.

Telework Exchange Spring Town Hall Meeting - May 2, 2012

The 11th semi-annual Town Hall Meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the D.C. Convention Center. Consisting of two tracks, the event will address telework technology and management methods that support a mobile workforce. Hear directly from more than 30 government and industry leaders on best practices and lessons learned in a mobile environment.
