presentations to all COG member counties
and several cities, and several stakeholder
organizations.
• Greater Washington 2050 presentation
to COG annual leadership retreat, July
31 – August 1.
August
• Additional Greater Washington 2050
outreach presentations as requested/required
to ensure broad COG member and stakeholder
engagement.
• COG staff will incorporate guidance
from the COG leadership retreat and prepare
a draft Greater Washington 2050 report
and recommendations, incorporating proposed
Greater Washington 2050 Compact, goals,
targets and performance indicators, as
well as proposed COG governance and work
plan activities.
September
• Additional Greater Washington 2050
outreach presentations as requested/required
to ensure broad COG member and stakeholder
organization engagement.
• Staff draft Greater Washington 2050
report and recommendations will be distributed
to the Greater Washington 2050 Coalition
for review and comment.
• Concurrent presentation and comment
opportunity on the staff draft Greater
Washington 2050 report and recommendations
to COG policy, program and technical committees,
including Chief Administrative Officers
Committee.
October
• Greater Washington 2050 Coalition
review of staff draft report and recommendations,
October 2; the Coalition will be asked
to approve for a six week comment period.
• Coalition draft report and recommendations
will be transmitted to all COG member governments
and key stakeholder organizations for comment.
COG will aggressively advertise and promote
opportunities for comment.
• Coalition draft report and recommendations
will also be posted on the COG web site
for comments; comments due November 13.
November
