Housing Directors Advisory Committee - Description

The Housing Directors Advisory Committee (HDAC) reports to the Human Services Policy Committee on regional housing and community development issues.  The Committee is responsible for developing and presenting all reports, policy statements, recommendations and proposals relevant to housing and community development in the region.  Recent projects include vetting and approving Region Forward’s housing targets.

The HDAC is composed of the region’s housing and community development directors.  Committee Chair responsibilities rotate between the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia each year, and is currently held by Jesse Buggs with the City of Bowie, MD. The HDAC normally meets the third Thursday of January, March, May, July, September and November.  To confirm meeting times and dates contact Alicia Lewis at 202-962-3346.
