Plan Development

The CLRP Schedule

The Long-Range Plan and the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) are updated every year. Every four years the TPB is required to do a major plan update, which essentially means a new Financial Plan is developed.

Click here for the current 2007 CLRP schedule.

The annual plan update schedule generally follows the schedule below. The schedule is largely driven by the air quality conformity analysis that is conducted each year. Many of the dates in the annual cycle are keyed to the date of the TPB meeting that month. (The TPB generally meets on the third Wednesday of each month.) The beginning of public comment periods normally coincide with CAC meetings.
