Public Health Emergency Planners Subcommittee - Description

The COG Public Health Emergency Planners Subcommittee (PHEPS, formally BEPS), a subcommittee of the COG Health Officials Committee, meet monthly to collaborate on issues of regional emergency planning in the National Capitol Region and COG jurisdictions.

The PHEPS- Distribution Site Task Force, a subcommittee of the PHEPS, is tasked with communicating and coordinating local medical prophylaxis distribution site planning in the NCR. The Task Force is comprised of local, state, and federal emergency planners, distribution site managers, and SNS coordinators.
