How Safe Are Our Roads? A Data Report on the Impact of Drunk and Drugged Driving on Highway Safety in the Washington Metropolitan Region
The Washington Regional Alcohol Program (WRAP) report provides annual compilation and analysis of existing data on highway safety related to alcohol and other drugs, speeding, and safety restraint use.
The report is prepared by COG for WRAP. Data compiled in this report comes from national, state, and local sources including the U.S. Census Bureau, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), National Park Police, and Virginia and Maryland Departments of Transportation. Primary data was collected from the local police departments of each jurisdiction.
