FTA's New Freedom Program Case Study
The case study describes a project by the Jewish Council for the Aging, which received U.S. Federal Transit Administration (FTA) New Freedom funding.
COG served as the designated recipient for the JARC program in the Washington DC-VA-MD Urbanized Area. The National Capital Transportation Planning Board (TPB) at COG solicited and selected projects that aimed to improve mobility for transportation-disadvantaged groups.
