Summary

The federal government requires that the National Capital Region Transportation Plan be updated at least every four years. The National Capital Region Transportation Planning Board (TPB) approved Visualize 2050, the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026-2029 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), and the accompanying air quality conformity analysis on December 17, 2025.
