The Air and Climate Public Advisory Committee (ACPAC) advises on air quality, climate, and energy issues to policy committees of the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (COG). The committee advises the Metropolitan Washington Air Quality Committee (MWAQC) on air quality planning and the Climate, Energy and Environment Policy Committee (CEEPC) on climate and energy planning.

MWAQC considers and makes membership appointments to ACPAC in February. The term of appointment is three years. Interest forms are accepted from December 5, 2025 and January 16, 2026. Applicants must live in the metropolitan Washington region.
