Posttraumatic Stress Disorder on the Frontline

This program has been designed to provide educational tools and information about

posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) to frontline crisis and/or emergency

professionals, and provide basic information to frontline professional counselors.

After attending this program, participants should:

Have an increased awareness of the signs and symptoms of PTSD

Be able to encourage those who may be suffering from PTSD to seek the help they need

Be able to promote understanding that PTSD is a treatable medical condition
