Joint Urban Warrior (JUW) is a partnership between the US Marine Corps (USMC) and US Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM) to move forward on joint and combined urban operations concept development and experimentation (CD&E).  JUW 04 will be conducted 21-26 March 2004 at the National Conference Center (NCC), Lansdowne, Virginia.  One objective will be "To identify issues of particular interest to Homeland Security."  The Homeland Security cell will focus on the complex dimensions of homeland security, with particular emphasis on the supporting role of military forces to civil authority in incident response.  This will not be another tabletop exercise.  Invited is a broad spectrum of key professionals from the first responder community:  Maryland, Virginia, DC EMA's, several federal agencies, representatives from the Department of Defense, and NYC.
