The showcase is organized by Equity International with support from the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation and the Chesapeake Innovation Center.

With almost $4 billion in federal funding this year for First Responders, Equity International is launching this exclusive new event designed to bring Homeland Security innovations to state and local level agencies and organizations.

The Showcase will address the increasing security needs at the state and local levels as well as the substantial new funding now available.  The audience will comprised of local officials, state officials, First Responders, and business leaders.  Introductory remarks will be provided by state and local officials;  remarks from federal officials managing federal grants for First Responders; and presentation on homeland security solutions provided by Showcase corporate sponsors.
