A (2) two hour class will be held at the Washington County Fire & Rescue Training Center located at 16232 Elliott Parkway, Williamsport, MD in the Water Treatment Facility on Saturday, September 24, 2005 at 10 AM.

The class is open ONLY to Police, Fire/EMS, Emergency Responders and Government Officials from the District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia.  Official Identification is required at the door.

The class will consist of a briefing on the current understanding of the CBRN terrorist threat and past incidents of such terrorism.  There will be a demo of a CBRN familiarization kit, which contains stimulants, laboratory equipment and PPE equipment.  Another key part of this class is the handouts and other training materials given out to the class participants.

A special presentation on terrorism will also be provided by Special Agent Kirk D. Noaker from the FBI-JTTF-FBI Baltimore Field Office.
