This hands-on training workshop will explore how disasters and emergencies can psychologically impact how employees function and identify ways to overcome these challenges.  Through role-playing exercises, group activities, and team-building challenges, participants will be able to: 1) Describe the psychological effects of disasters, emergencies and terror attacks; 2) Recognize how "Psychological First Aid" can help in preparation and response; 3) Prepare self and fmaily during times of disasters and emergencies; 4) Incorporate communication tools to deal with the public in times of crisis; 5) Demonstrate the effectiveness of a team approach to dealing with the psychological aspects of disasters and emergencies
