This course is designed to provide keymembers of community planning teams (i.e., local, state and federal officials) with the skills they need to prevent or deter agricultural terrorist incidents, while also preparing for a threat of attack, or actual attack upon the food supply of their community.  The course will also instruct participants in recovery operations if such an attack occurs.

Anyone in a supervisory capacity of any aspect of food production, from pre-production (soil preparation, seed and input handling), to harvesting/processing (processing, packing, canning,), transportation (from farm to plant to store), delivery and final distribution would benefit from this class.  In addition, law enforcement officers, members of the medical community, homeland security officials, veterinarians, public information officers, public health officials, and emergency planners from local and state governments would also profit from the class.
