The Training consists of nine days of classroom and practical application in Concept of Operations, Cold Zone Overview, Communications Procedures, Platoon Orientations, Multi-Rae Operations, Medical Overview, and Air purifying Respirators, Supplied air Respirators, SCBA Emergency Procedures, Building Search Techniques Manually Lifting and Moving Heavy Objects, Basic Rope and Knots for Rescue, Mechanical Advantage, and Patient Packaging. The practical applications are designed to reinforce classroom instruction and provide confidence in the capability to operated safely at a WMD attack. Students are required to reside at the training facility. The course is provided to first responders on a first come basis. The only fee is approximately $65 for meals.
