Both the planning principles and recommendations for compact structure were reviewed by the Greater Washington 2050 Coalition at their September 25 meeting. Maybe we should convene the Planning Tools Task Force to discuss how the Planning Tools Matrix and implementation strategy will fit into the planning principles and compact structure. The meeting is currently scheduled for Friday, October 10, 2008 10:00 am – 11:30 am and will be held at the COG Building in Meeting Room #1. COG will have lunch for the Task Force members and for those who will stay and continue work beyond the scheduled meeting time. Depending on how much we complete at this meeting, we may schedule an additional meeting for October (if needed).
