NCR Interagency Public Safety Chaplains Conference
The Ministry of Presence: Faith, Resilience, and Service in the Line of Duty
Join chaplains, wellness professionals, peer support leaders, and public safety personnel from across the National Capital Region for a day of learning, collaboration, and professional development.
Hosted by the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (COG) Public Safety Chaplains Subcommittee, this conference brings together professionals from law enforcement, fire and rescue, EMS, corrections, communications, DOD, and allied agencies to share best practices, strengthen partnerships, and explore innovative approaches to supporting first responder wellness and resilience.
Participants will hear from experienced practitioners and subject matter experts on topics including first responder chaplaincy, wellness and peer support integration, cultural competency, leadership, stress management, and more.
