The Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (COG) Institute for Regional Excellence (IRE) in partnership with the George Washington University (GWU) Center for Excellence in Public Leadership are offering one- and two-day leadership training courses this summer in finance, leadership, and strategic thinking.

Professionals employed by COG’s member jurisdictions and partnering agencies can register for these highly-rated programs at a discounted rate. These short courses are taught by “pracademics”—including those who have been senior leaders in local government.
