Animal Services

Through their dedication to the people and animals that reside in the region, animal services officials help ensure safer communities. At COG, these officials meet regularly to exchange ideas on a variety of topics, such as animal care, animal control, wildlife, dangerous animals, and humane education.

The Animal Services Committee has led several regional efforts, including animal disaster planning and a focus on reducing wildlife and vehicle collisions. The Committee also holds awards ceremonies to honor outstanding animal services professionals, volunteers, and local leaders.
