CLRP Performance Analysis

Each CLRP update or amendment is analyzed to see how it performs in a variety of ways relating to the TPB's Vision Goals. The Performance Analysis of the CLRP uses output from the TPB’s travel demand model, which forecasts where, when, and how people will travel around the region in coming decades. To make its predictions, the model relies on the latest regional population and job growth forecasts from the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, information on existing travel patterns from the TPB’s Household Travel Survey, and the future transportation system laid out in the CLRP. The Performance Analysis examines changes to congestion levels, air quality, job accessibility and environmental justice.

Please visit the Performance Analysis pages of the CLRP web site for more information on the most recent analysis.
