COG's 50th Anniversary was an opportunity for area leaders and stakeholders to celebrate and promote a half century of cooperation and success. Under the direction of a distinguished 50th Anniversary Committee of current and former elected officials, COG planned a thought-provoking Futures Forum to look at the region 50 years from now, an Anniversary Gala, a book on COG's history, and public outreach programs.
