Field Demonstrations of Equipment (Weather Permitting)
Monday March 10, 4:00-6:15 pm
SIGN UP SHEETS WILL BE AT REGISTRATION TABLE

1) HACH Environmental
Acoustic Digital Current (ADC) Meter
Hach Environmental will demonstrate the Acoustic Digital Current (ADC) Meter.  The ADC measures point velocities at user defined locations along a cross section and calculates discharge automatically.
We’ll review the sensor technology, measuring principle, features, and user benefits, as well as an example measurement and review of the generated data.

2)  Teledyne Isco
Teledyne Isco will demonstrate the sampling equipment that will be exhibited.  We’ll show you how to install the suction line in a body of water, do basic programming of the sampler, and run a program where samples are collected in the sampler.

3) YSI
SonTek FlowTracker Demonstration
Join us for a hands-on, feet-wet, demonstration of the YSI/SonTek FlowTracker for wading discharge measurements.  We will head out to one of the forks of Indian Run in Cacapon State Park, (walking distance from the lodge) to see how the FlowTracker makes your discharge measurements not only easy, but also more accurate with our built in SmartQC quality checks.  Participants will be given the opportunity to use the FlowTracker first hand.  Waders are recommended!
