| Automobile emissions vary according to speed. These charts indicate how NOx emissions are higher at low speeds (<15 mph) and at high speeds (>45 mph); VOC emissions are highest at low speeds (<15 mph) and are lowest at high speeds (>45 mph). It is clear from the two graphs that both VOC and NOx emissions are low in the speed range of 35-40 mph. |
