Airport Noise Abatement and Aviation Policy
Overview
COG has a long history of organizing regional forums to address airport noise and aviation policy. The Aviation Policy Committee is the primary body for noise issues; the Part 150 Committee is a new group specifically examining solutions to noise along the Potomac corridor. Staff also coordinates the Helicopter Study, another policy initiative.
