Green BuildingChesapeake Bay Foundation Tour - Interior The interior of the building features sustainably harvested and recycled-content materials such as bamboo, cork, and reclaimed concrete. The framing is made of parallel laminated wood beams. Walls made of a chipped wood sandwich material containing expanded polystyrene provide excellent insulation. Work areas are open to maximize natural lighting and efficient ventilation. Click on image for larger view.
