Continuous Monitoring Data
Generally deployed from April - October to measure water quality parameters every 15 minutes with a YSI probe measuring dissolved oxygen, turbidity, chlorophyll, water temperature, salinity, and pH. Currently used by MDDNR, VADEQ, USGS, St. Mary's College, and GMU (Tidal Occoquan River, Belmont Bay)

Through a partnership with the MNDDNR and United States Geological Survey, continuous monitoring data is available from the Potomac River in Piscatway Creek, Matawoman Creek and Fenwick. Learn more about this partnership.
