Arlington County gets its water from the Arlington County Environmental Services(DES), a water distribution agency, which purchases water from the Washington Aqueduct Division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (WAD). WAD gets its water from the Potomac River through intakes at Great Falls and Little Falls. WAD has two water treatment plants, the McMillan and Dalecarlia plants. Generally, Arlington receives its water from the Dalecarlia plant. Read the Consumer Confidence Report on the Arlington County DES website or call Perry Sasser at 703-228-6578 to get a copy.
