This April, COG launched the Spring 2017 Go Recycle media campaign on broadcast radio, streaming radio, paid social media, and digital advertising.

The four-week campaign educates residents about recycling and encourages them to recycle everywhere--at work, at home, and in public spaces. Its website GoRecycle.org includes facts about recycling, information about where to recycle as well as links to external sites and resources.

This year’s campaign highlights how recycled materials are made into new products. Several ads have been customized for individual jurisdictions explaining why recycling matters in different communities in the District of Columbia, suburban Maryland, and Northern Virginia.
