Emergency Transportation Preparedness
The terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 put transportation management and operations enhancements for emergency preparedness on the "front burner." Transportation emergency preparedness issues are the main focus of COG's Regional Emergency Support Function (RESF) #1 - Emergency Transportation Committee. TPB coordinates with RESF #1 on transportation operations considerations of mutual interest.
