National and Regional Organizations
The following is a growing list—organized alphabetically—of national organizations that have additional resources to support the goals of the TLC Program.

| Center for Neighborhood Technology | Non-profit organization focused on developing innovative public policy to address sustainable urban growth, development, and transportation. |
| Complete Streets Coalition | A coalition advocating for improving street design for a diverse set of users, including pedestrians and bikers. |
| Congress for the New Urbanism | Non-profit organization promoting walkable, neighborhood-based development as an alternative to sprawl. |
| Green Communities Online | Green Communities is the first national green building program focused entirely on affordable housing. |
| Local Government Commission Center for Livable Communities | Non-profit organization working to build liveable communities, and creators of the Ahwahnee Principles. |
| The National Association of Biking and Walking | Non-profit organization dedicated to creating bicycle-friendly and walkable communities. |

| The Smart Growth Network | Formed in 1996 as collaboration between the US Environmental Protection Agency and non-profit organizations. Works to promote development that serves the economy, community, and environment. |
| Surface Transportation Policy Project | Non-profit coalition working to ensure safer communities and smarter transportation choices that enhance the economy, improve public health, promote social equity, and protect the environment. |
