The TLC Clearinghouse is a web-based source of information about transportation/land use coordination, including regional and national experience with transit-oriented development and other key strategies.
The TLC Program provides support to local governments in the Metropolitan Washington region as they work to improve transportation/ land use coordination. Through the program, the TPB provides communities with up to $20,000 worth of technical assistance to catalyze or enhance planning efforts. Any member jurisdiction of the TPB is eligible to apply.
On February 20, the Transportation Planning Board approved eleven technical assistance projects for inclusion in the FY 2008 TLC Program. Projects for the pilot round of the TLC Technical assistance program were completed in June 2007. See Current Projects for more information about these community planning efforts.
