The TPB is accepting applications for only the regional TA Program and only for FY 2014. The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has already concluded its solicitation for statewide TA Program funding for FY 2014, which will only be available to projects that have received Transportation Enhancements (TE) Program allocations in past years. The Commonwealth Transportation Board (CTB) has already obligated all FY 2013 funding - both the statewide and regional allocations.
Applicants for the regional FY 2014 TA Program funding may submit proposals for new projects. TPB staff will coordinate with VDOT to review projects that have previously received TE Program funding. Please refer to VDOT's Locally Administered Projects Manual for more information about federal aid projects in Virginia.
The total amount of funding for projects under the regional FY 2014 TA Program is roughly $2,820,000.
Project submissions for the Transportation Alternatives Program are due by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2013.

For projects that have previously received funding under the TE Program, applicants must submit only the regional application below. The TPB will coordinate with VDOT to review project information that was submitted directly to VDOT under its FY 2014 TA Program solicitation.
