ACPAC members visit DC Water’s Blue Plains Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant – the largest plant of its kind in the world.

Looking to get involved in and make a difference in planning for the region's future? Are you interested in helping the D.C. region address climate, energy, and air quality issues?

Community leaders and interested citizens from across the metropolitan Washington region are invited to apply for membership on the Air and Climate Public Advisory Committee (ACPAC) at the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments. For 2018, there are a few ACPAC openings for people who live or work in D.C. or Northern Virginia.

To apply, please complete the online interest form by Wednesday, December 20, 2017.

ACPAC is a group of 18 citizens that represent diverse viewpoints on regional air quality and climate change issues. ACPAC promotes public involvement and provides independent, citizen advice to the Metropolitan Washington Air Quality Committee (MWAQC) and Climate, Energy, and Environment Policy Committee (CEEPC).
