Nov 7, 2005

COG's two-week radio ad campaign beginning November 7 focuses on encouraging residents and businesses in the area to take on the responsibility of recycling. Advertisements will run through November 20 on five local stations to educate the public and raise awareness on the importance of recycling. The $45,000 radio buy was funded largely by area sponsors:

  • U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
  • Waste Management Recycle America
  • The Washington Post
  • Covanta Energy
  • The City of Alexandria
  • Arlington County
  • District of Columbia
  • Prince George’s County
  • Montgomery County
  • Fairfax County
