and E-Cycling Day 9 am to 3 pm at the Benning Road Trash Transfer Station, 3200 Benning Road, NE.
- November 5 to November 16, in search of the “Perfect Set Out.” A gift package, including a $50 check, will be given to one resident in each ward who sets out a recycling bin containing acceptable recycled materials in the proper manner. Winners will be announced the week of November 26th to recognize America Recycles Day, which will be celebrated nationally on November 15, 2007.

17: Celebrate America Recycles Day with the Division of Solid Waste Services! This is a day to raise awareness about the importance of recycling and buying products made with recycled materials. Multiple activities and exhibits including, Grasscycling and Backyard Composting, Waste Reduction Techniques, Unique Materials to Recycle in Montgomery County, Compost Bin Distribution and Leafgro Promotion, and Special appearances throughout the day by Rocco, the Recycling Retriever!
