The Region Forward Complete Communities Workshop

Partners will attend the Complete Communities workshop to be held at the George Washington Uninversity Marvin Center on Friday, September 14th, 2012. The workshop will run from 9:30 am - 5:00 pm and lunch will be provided.

Background

Partners will learn how to use a tool that helps communities strategically strengthen their economy, environment, and equity by targeting key building blocks. The workshop will be led by Dr. Alfonzo who is a leading researcher of social and economic outcomes of place making. Participants will learn about her new tool called the State of Place Index which uses information collected through a micro feature inventory called the Irvine Minnesota Inventory.
