Metropolitan Washington Air Quality Committee Chair, Members featured on NBC 4's Viewpoint

Jul 1, 2014

Metropolitan Washington Air Quality Committee (MWAQC) Chair and Fall Church Vice Mayor David Snyder appeared with MWAQC Chair, AAA Mid-Atlantic Public Affairs Director Lon Anderson and GW's Dr. Janet Phoenix on NBC4's public affairs talkshow, Viewpoint, last Sunday morning to discuss the state of regional air quality.

As summer approaches, air pollution and individuals' roles in producing emissions is of chief concern. Though this region has been on a consistent downward trend in terms of 'code orange' and 'code red' days of low air quality, there is more to be done to improve air quality.
