Animal Services Committee
Members of the Animal Services Committee meet bi-monthly to exchange and discuss local and regional information and ideas concerning the delivery of animal services. The Committee advises the Public Safety Policy Committee and the COG Board of Directors on matters pertaining to animal care and control issues. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to: animal care, animal control, wildlife, disaster planning and response, dangerous animals, humane education and recognition of excellence in the field of animal care and control. The Animal Services Committee appoints subcommittees to develop regional policies, plans, agreements, and programs.
