This report outlines a voluntary framework to help the Metropolitan Washington region improve outdoor air quality while addressing equity and environmental justice. It highlights the health and environmental impacts of poor air quality, especially in underserved communities, and presents seven broad strategies for reducing pollution. Developed through stakeholder input, the guide prioritizes actions based on their effectiveness, feasibility, and benefits to vulnerable populations.
