    The District of Columbia, the State of Maryland, and the Commonwealth of Virginia request that the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) redesignate the Washington DC-MD-VA 2008 ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) marginal nonattainment are to attainment for this standard pursuant to the provisions under § 107 of the federal Clean Air Act (CAA).

    Air Quality Conformity Analysis of the 2016 CLRP Amendment and the FY 2017-2022 TIP

    This report documents the assessment of the 2016 Amendment to the CLRP and the FY 2017-2022 TIP with respect to air quality conformity requirements under the 1990 Clean Air Act Amendments. The analysis used criteria and procedures contained in the Environmental Protection Agency's final conformity rule, published in the November 24, 1993 Federal Register, with subsequent amendments and additional federal guidance published by EPA and by the Federal Highway Administration and the Federal Transit Administration. The analysis is a responsibility of the Transportation Planning Board.

    Intercity Bus Traffic and Patronage in the Metropolitan Washington Region

    The region’s intercity bus network serves thousands of person trips daily. Intercity Bus Traffic and Patronage in the Metropolitan Washington Region is the region’s first known effort to quantify intercity bus ridership, where travelers board and alight, and origins and destinations outside of the region. In the fall of 2016, the National Capital Region Transportation Planning Board (TPB) conducted a count of intercity bus travel to and from the metropolitan Washington region.     Greater Washington Metro Export Plan

    The plan, which aims to help increase the region's exports, was developed by the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, the Greater Washington Board of Trade, and the Consortium of Universities for the Metropolitan Washington Area. It is a product of the Global Cities Initiative, a joint project of the Brookings Institution and JPMorgan Chase.
