COG will host an all-day training session for area solid waste managers on Thursday, July 28, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the COG 1st Floor Rooms 4 & 5 in Washington.. FEMA and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers trainers will conduct the program. The morning portion will cover some planning issues and the afternoon section will present a just released training on quality assurance monitoring at debris operation sites. Attendees will also receive the new Quality Assurance Monitoring CD to be released next month by the Army Corps.
The training is targeted at local, state and federal public sector solid waste managers and senior field supervisors. Because of space limitations, I ask that each jurisdiction only send a maximum of 2-3 people. If you would like more people to attend, please give John Snarr a call at 202 962 3359.
