Federal, state and local agency disaster response plans in the Washington DC Metro Tri-State, Mid-Atlantic region have evolved since 9-11-2001. Where are we today and where do we go from here? This conference will bring together key leaders from Maryland, Virginia, and DC's Emergency Medical, Emergency Management, Fire, Law Enforcement, Public Health and Hospital Associations to discuss issues facing the region's first responders and first receivers including preparedness plans currently in place, what needs to be implemented and how best to coordinate the regional response to a mass casualty event.
Learing Objectives
Describe preparation and planning efforts on the regional, state and local levels that will assist providers responding to a mass casualty incident.
Identify strategy and implementation needs for responsders.
