CyberWATCH
Funded by a $3 million grant over four years from the National Science Foundation, CyberWATCH is a consortium of organizations in the Washington metropolitan area that will establish and operate a regional center in cybersecurity for 2005 through 2009. CyberWATCH will:

Develop a cybersecurity/information assurance curriculum for higher education.

Build business and teamwork skills among IT professionals.

Provide faculty training and assistance for college and universities.

Ensure a consistently skilled workforce in cybersecurity/information assurance.
Forum Objective
This forum will introduce CyberWATCH to potential partners within the business and government sectors. It will initiate a dialogue which will assist educators in creating higher education curriculums tailored to meet industry needs and discuss ways to match qualified graduates to current and future job openings.
